Today, Dell is announcing a couple of new laptops, one of which is under its casual gaming brand and one of which is under the Alienware brand. They both have one thing in common though, which is that they use AMD's new Ryzen 5000 processors, up to a Ryzen R9 5900HX with eight cores.

In fact, the firm started off its announcement by calling out games like Halo 3, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, and The Orange Box, noting that they have something in common with Alienware's last AMD-powered gaming laptop: they were released in 2007. Indeed, Dell is never shy about its very tight partnership with Intel, so fans will be happy to see the company expanding its horizons.

The two new laptops are the Alienware m15 and Dell G15, and along with Ryzen 5000 chips, they come with Nvidia's GeForce RTX 30 series GPUs. Another thing that they're both getting is user-upgradeable 3200MHz memory, something not seen before on an Alienware 15-inch laptop.

The Alienware m15 also comes with the new Cherry MX keyboard, a partnership that was announced by Dell a couple of weeks ago. It comes with per-key RGB lighting, and the laptop is coming in the U.S. on April 20, starting at $1,793.98.

Dell has an Intel-powered G15 with 10th-gen processors coming on April 13 to the U.S., while the Ryzen Edition is coming May 4. They both start at $899.99.

Dell also has a few new monitors coming. The Dell 25 Gaming Monitor has a 240Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time. There are also some corved monitors like the QHD 165Hz Dell 27 and Dell 32 Curved Gaming Monitors. Finally, the Dell 32 Curved Gaming Monitor is wider with WQHD resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, and more. The Dell 25 Gaming Monitor and Dell 34 Curved Gaming Monitor will be available on May 27, while the Dell 27 and Dell 32 Curved Gaming Monitors are coming June 22, all with pricing to be announced later.
