Google releases video showing off how it built its Android 8.0 Oreo superhero

After a short and unfulfilling live stream of the Android 8.0 Oreo reveal, Google finally announced the official title of its latest mobile OS. If you missed the presentation, a countdown timer went to zero, and out popped an Oreo cookie that transformed into an Android Oreo superhero.

The firm has now released a new video that shows off behind-the-scenes footage of the creation process of the robotic wonder. From the looks of it, the firm had a group building the robot from scratch and it is quite interesting to see the process

If curious about the details of Android 8.0 Oreo, be sure to head to the official website where you can learn about its many new features. Currently, Google has released the system images of the OS for a handful of supported devices and has started pushing the OTA update to Pixel and Nexus devices in the beta program. If you currently own an HTC, Samsung, LG or other supported devices, you should get it by the end of the year.
