OneNote for iOS receives a major update with a redesigned interface

Microsoft today released a major update for its OneNote app on iOS, bringing the version number to 16.0. According to the version number, it's the first major update for the app to be released since 15.20 was released in March 2016.

Most of the changes that you'll find are visual, and as you can see from the image above, Microsoft is trying to bring a consistent design across all of your devices. Here are the full release notes that you'll see when you update your app:

Experience the re-designed look and feel of OneNote: It's easier than ever to organize your notes with an improved layout. All of your notebooks, sections, and pages can be found in columns on the side of the app, efficiently navigable with screen readers, keyboards, and more.

Office Insiders on iOS have been testing out version 16.0 for almost two weeks now. To join the program, you'll need to apply, but you'll only be able to choose one of the four Office apps to test out.

But in the meantime, you can download or update your OneNote app on iOS right here.
