Nintendo announces that its PokÃ©mon TV show is the latest to join the lineup for Majesco's Game Boy Advance Video range.
Nintendo has today announced that its PokÃ©mon television show is coming to Game Boy Advance Video, joining numerous franchises from theCartoon Network, Nickelodeon, and 4Kids Entertainment that have previously been announced by Majesco. The $19.99 "Video paks" are scheduled for release on June 21 and will each contain two PokÃ©mon episodes. Two PokÃ©mon packs will be released initially, containing the episodes "Playing With Fire!" and "Johto Photo Finish" on one and "A Hot Water Bottle" and "For Ho-Oh the Bells Toll!" on the other.
"Even by the remarkable standards of product evolution that have characterized the Game Boy franchise, this is a landmark event," said George Harrison, Nintendo of America's senior vice president of marketing and corporate communications. "PokÃ©mon is part of the first step in revolutionizing the nature of portable video entertainment, with eventual reach targeting all.
