Samsung introduces Webcam Monitor S4 for hybrid workers

Samsung Electronics has introduced its latest monitor that is the 24-inch Webcam Monitor S4 (Model Name: S40VA). It is built in a way that caters to the needs of hybrid workers. This monitor allows users to connect and collaborate conveniently with its built-in webcam, speakers, and microphone.

Samsung's Senior Vice President of Visual Display Business, Hyesung Ha stated:

Samsung remains dedicated to providing customers with the solutions that meet their demands, while providing innovation and a superior experience. We have designed this product with the new hybrid work environment in mind. Thanks to the webcam at the top of the screen, users can join a video conference, take an online class or attend a virtual event all from the same monitor.

The latest gadget features a 2.0-megapixel FHD pop-up camera along with an infrared camera that allows the S4 monitor to furnish its users with the essentials required to attend virtual meetings or join a conference. It is also Windows Hello-certified which ensures that users can log into and unlock their monitor within two seconds, providing user convenience and increased login speeds. Biometric sensors activate and scan a user's face that eliminates the need for passwords to access the Windows 10 devices, websites, and apps.

It comes with a Full HD (1920×1080) resolution, and a 178-degree horizontal and vertical wide viewing angle which allows for optimal viewing with clarity and vivid colors. The S4 monitor also works as a USB hub, which means that a USB-connected laptop can allow more devices to be connected simultaneously.

Samsung's latest device also features built-in 2W dual stereo speakers for an enhanced audio experience. It offers HDMI, DP, D-Sub, and Audio out ports for multiple connectivity options as well.
