Spotify revamps mobile and tablet home screens to help you easily find favorite content

Spotify announced today a new look for its home screen on mobile and tablet devices. The updated app now makes it easier for you to discover content you like to play most of the time as well as explore new songs right at its home page.

The new interface is rolling out today and you will find up to six items at the top of the home screen. Each space is dedicated to your favorite content such as playlist, most-played album, or top podcasts, all organized according to their category. Below the dedicated spaces are your recent playlists, Spotify's recommendations based on your listening history, songs you've liked, and a "made for you" playlist, among other options.

The home screen also greets you with a “Good morning” and the greetings change as the day progresses, so you'll see the greetings transition into “Good afternoon” and then “Good evening”. In addition, content on the home page changes along with the time of day.

Spotify's refreshed UI is available from today and it follows a recent update that introduced new designs and actionable icons to its iOS version. The music-streaming service says the latest changes aim to make its home screen the "ultimate go-to location" for content you love or for new songs you may want to discover.
