Microsoft has released new versions of many of its programming tools, including version 3.0 of .NET Core, ASP.NET Core, and Entity Framework Core. F# 4.7 and Entity Framework 6.3 are also available.

Alongside the first preview of .NET Core 3.0, Microsoft is also releasing Visual Studio 2019 in preview form, bringing an improved UI and a bunch of other changes to the coding experience.
At its Microsoft Connect(); 2018 event, the company announced that it's open-sourcing Windows Forms, WPF, and WinUI on GitHub, and that .NET Core 3.0 is now available in preview form.
At the Ignite conference this week, Microsoft announced the general availability of .NET Core 2.1 and showed off some of the upcoming improvements to the platform with versions 2.2 and 3.0.
