Microsoft today released Visual Studio 2015 Update 3. The news comes almost three weeks after the firm offered the Release Candidate build.
One of the new features in this update is Xamarin 4.1. Among other new features, it adds support for tvOS development.
Other than that, there are new tools for Apache Cordova, as well as new Application Insights. Of course, there are improvements to the IDE, along with a ton of other new features.
For a much more thorough list of features than we can provide here, check out the release notes.
There is also one known issue:
Visual C++: Passing non-pointer-like types to uninitialized_copy, uninitialized_copy_n, or uninitialized_fill
Passing non-pointer-like types to uninitialized_copy, uninitialized_copy_n, or uninitialized_fill fails to compile.
Provide a pointer_traits specialization for the supplied type.
