Truck with 6,000 copies of Modern Warfare 3 stolen in Paris

It's likely that some of you have been waiting to get your copy of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 for some time. A few of you might even be waiting in line tonight at your favorite retail store when the first person shooter from Activision officially goes on sale. However, two French gamers couldn't wait their turn.

Computer and Video Games says that according to French media sources, a truck that contained 6,000 copies of Modern Warfare 3 was hijacked on Saturday morning in Paris. Two masked thieves reportedly used tear gas in order to overcome the drivers of the truck. The actual shipment of games that was stolen is said to be worth 400,000 euros.

This whole scenario sounds way too much like a storyline for the next Rush Hour movie. It's clear that the two criminal 'masterminds' planned this little heist for a while, and may have even received some inside information in order to know when the truck was leaving the warehouse and what games were in the shipment.

In any case, lets hope these guys are captured and arrested quickly, just to prove to them that stealing video games from a truck is pretty ridiculous.  All they need to do to in order to get Modern Warfare 3 is wait until later tonight and pay a few euros like everyone else.
