Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase goes live on June 12

Xbox Bethesda Showcase

Microsoft's staple summer gaming event of the year is coming back, with the company today announcing the official return of Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase. The presentation will be on June 12 at 10AM PT this year. It would have fit right in with the usual E3 week presentations if E3 2022 wasn’t canceled.

The announcement is very barebones, only revealing a date for fans to look forward to and a little teaser, with Microsoft saying, "this show will feature amazing titles coming from Xbox Game Studios, Bethesda, and our partners around the world."

Both showings of upcoming games to the Xbox console, PC, and cloud systems, as well as plenty of fresh Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass announcements are incoming during this show. If previous years are anything to go by, it should be a 90-minute presentation, exhibiting a bunch of trailers for upcoming projects from Xbox Game Studios, Bethesda teams, as well as third party publishers, both indie and AAA.

Bethesda's most highly anticipated project right now is Starfield, and it has already been confirmed that the space RPG will be a big focus of this showcase. Other Xbox internal projects we are probably going to get a look at on stage include Fable, Avowed, Senua's Saga: Hellblade II, and the Forza Motorsport reboot and surely some surprise reveals. Of course, Perfect Dark, State of Decay 3, Outer Worlds 2, Everwild, and Contraband may be a part of the event too.

The Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase will be streamed across all the major Xbox channels in over 30 languages on June 12.
