Last week at Gamescom, it was announced that Microsoft would bring DVR functionality to the the Xbox One in 2016. Today, it looks like we are getting details that the DVR feature will first go live in the US, Canada and the UK.
The DVR feature will be free and allow you to record content and stream it to any Windows 10 device. For those that may need extra storage to record footage, don't forget that Seagate and Microsoft have partnered to create a 2TB drive exclusively for the Xbox.
Although a specific date has not been announced, the Xbox One DVR feature will come sometime in 2016 and will initially only be available in the US, Canada and the UK.
Windows 10 for the Xbox will begin rolling out starting in September. Windows 10 is currently available for PC for those that have reserved their copy and are running a valid copy of Windows 7, 8 and 8.1.
