Amazon has announced that beginning this fall, Prime Student members will be eligible for exclusive savings on several services including Grubhub+ Student, Calm, StudentUniverse, and Course Hero. For those not subscribed to Prime Student, Amazon is offering a six-month trial of the service at

Commenting on the new deals through Prime Student, Jamil Ghani, vice president of Amazon Prime, said:

“We know that college students enjoy the many benefits of a Prime Student membership, from streaming their favorite movies to getting fast and free delivery on dorm room essentials they need, and so much more. We’re thrilled to team up with brands we know students love, like Grubhub and Calm, to make Prime Student even more valuable to new and existing members.”

In terms of the specifics, you’ll be entitled to a free Grubhub+ Student monthly membership which includes free unlimited food delivery for students, special perks, donation matching, and 10% back on pick-up orders made with Grubhub+ Student Cash. You’ll also get three months usage of Calm before having to pay the cut-rate of $8.99 per year – that’s down from $69.99 per year.

The offers also include 10% off flights and hotels through StudentUniverse as well as free premium customer support on each booking. The pandemic may be hampering travel right now but hopefully, you’ll be able to take advantage of this offer as restrictions ease off. Finally, you can get one month of Course Hero for free and then pay the discounted rate of $9.95 per month (normally $39.95 per month). This service offers resources for your courses with step-by-step explanations, 24/7 homework help, textbook solutions, and more.

It’s unclear how long Amazon will be keeping the free trial running so if it’s something that will benefit you, be sure to sign-up while the offer stands.
