Don't let me forget: You can now set important items in Microsoft To-Do

Microsoft continues to - slowly but surely - make progress with its Microsoft To-Do app, and this time it's giving Windows Insiders exclusive access to a new feature in the app. Those in the Fast and Skip Ahead rings will be getting an update to version 1.35.11872, which includes a new Important tab.

With the latest update, you'll be able to mark items in your to-do lists with a star, which will add them to the newly introduced section of the app. Here, you'll be able to see the most important tasks ahead of you, and they will also be labeled with the name of the list they're coming from, as you can see in the screenshot.

Microsoft has been making steady progress with its Wunderlist replacement, though it's still lacking in some aspects, and the new feature, albeit small, is another step in the right direction. The company recently added shared lists to the app, as well as a dark theme for Windows 10 users. It should be a matter of time until important items become more broadly available too.

If you're a Windows Insider in the Fast ring, you can grab the latest version of the app with the exclusive new feature from the Microsoft Store.
