Low powered LCD screens create Intel notebook breakthrough

Today's Economic news reports that Intel and Toppoly have together developed LCD panels that will only draw three watts. The move is a breakthrough for Intel and the rest of us, because one of the biggest drains on notebook computers is the LCD screen, which normally eat up around 10 watts or more. According to the Economic News, samples of the LCD screens are already shipping to third parties for evaluation.
