Microsoft is again giving four months of free service to new Groove Music Pass subscribers

For the second time since November, Microsoft is hoping to entice new subscribers to its Groove Music Pass, by offering them four months' worth of free service before they decide whether or not they wish to purchase a subscription.

As with the previous offer, new subscribers will still be required to sign up for a free one-month trial with a credit card, priced at $9.99. Microsoft will then send a promo code that will entitle the user to a further three months of free service.

You can cancel your subscription before your card gets charged, unless you want to continue subscribing to Groove Music Pass at the standard rates once the promotional period ends.

In order to qualify for the offer, you must sign up to the one-month trial before March 1, 2017, and the promo code must be redeemed by March 14. Those who have previously subscribed to a Zune, Xbox or Groove Music Pass are not eligible for the deal.

Microsoft's music subscription service allows users to download songs on up to ten devices, as well as streaming to one device at a time. In addition to Windows 10 devices and the web, Groove is also supported on Xbox, Android, iOS and Sonos devices.
