Plex has announced that you can get 25% off a Lifetime Plex Pass if you buy it before 23:59 UTC on November 29. To get the discount you must enter LIFETIMEOFCOMFORT in the redeemable code section at the checkout. Applying the code will make the service available for just $89.99 compared to the regular price of $119.99 and as it’s a lifetime pass, you’ll never need to pay a penny again.

There is a range of benefits for those who sign-up for the service. You can download your movies, TV shows, and music on any device ready for offline viewing, you’ll be able to save time watching programmes by skipping the intros, you have access to the music app Plexamp which has been designed for ‘true audiophiles’, and more.

Over the last couple of years, Plex has been expanding its offering to include music streaming with TIDAL, the ability to listen to podcasts, and it hosts lots of TV series and films that you can watch for free thanks to ads. Most recently, the firm announced that its free-to-stream live TV channels now number 200, giving users more content to watch.

If the content that Plex is adding isn’t for you, you still have the option of using Plex as a media server for your own content; offering the additional content just makes the platform a bit more appealing for people without film and TV show libraries.

If you’ve decided that you want to go through with the purchase, just head over to the Plex Black Friday website, copy the code and head through to the purchase section.
