Dell releases a fresh batch of AMD-powered Inspiron 7000 Laptops

Fresh out of Dell's factory lines are its latest Inspiron 7000 laptops, featuring large 17" screens.

But more importantly, they're powered by AMD's Ryzen Mobile units, with Vega chips handling the graphics. The pricing for these machines starts from $679, and goes up to $999.

With the Ryzen 3 and 5 series chips inside (and more specifically, the 2200u and 2500u processors), depending on how much you pay, supported by up to 32GB of user-upgradeable RAM, Dell wants you to think these machines offer great bang for your buck.

The biggest caveat comes in the form of the laptops coming with no configurable SSD option - all of them run old-school HDDs out of the box. Given how competent Ryzen processors and their Vega GPU counterparts are, bottlenecking them with a slower storage model makes little sense.

If this particular limitation doesn't bother you, you can go check out Dell's new lineup over here.
