Uber has launched its own media division, with which it plans to sell advertisement space inside its ride hailing and food delivery apps, as well as during rides and even on top of cars.

Uber Eats now comes with a nifty bill splitting feature for group orders so that each member pays for their fair share. Members will be prompted to select their victuals in time for the order.

Uber has launched a new premium membership tier called Uber One. Membership costs $9.99 per month or $99.99 for the year. It includes loads of perks that will be good for regular users.

Uber for Business has announced the availability of Vouchers for Uber Eats. With this, businesses will have more flexibility to order from the service, even having the option to reward customers.

Uber for Business has launched its Eats service in Brazil, France, Canada, and the UK. Uber plans to roll out the service to more than 20 countries this year but didn't state which countries.

Uber has announced that users in New York can make donations to help restaurants. It will also match donations and put the money into the Restaurant Employee Relief Fund, which will help couriers.

As the COVID-19 outbreak forces many non-essential businesses like restaurants to shut down, Uber Eats is transitioning to delivering groceries in some regions, including France and Spain.

The company said it could suspend the accounts of passengers and drivers who've been diagnosed with the coronavirus. It has also listed the company's detailed policy on its website.

Uber Eats and Starbucks have announced that customers in several cities around the U.S., and London in the UK, will be able to begin placing Starbucks orders via the Uber Eats app.
