A new firmware update is rolling out for HP's Elite x3 Windows phone

HP is currently rolling out another firmware update for the Elite x3, which is the fourth one since its release back in August. The new update will bring it to version 0002.0000.0023.0113, which is an increase from 0002.0000.0018.0105 (via Windows Central).

The company has been active in releasing updates for its entry into the Windows 10 Mobile market, releasing the first OTA firmware in September, another later that month alongside the Anniversary Update, and the third in November. Windows phone fans are sure to be pleased with HP's level of support, as this is rarely the case for Windows handsets these days.

The Elite x3 is being marketed as a 3-in-1, in that it can serve as a phone, laptop, and desktop PC, with the use of HP's accessories, such as the Lap Dock and the Desk Dock. Users can even run x86 apps with virtualization through the company's Workspace service.

Unfortunately, there's no changelog that's currently available, but we've reached out to HP for more information about the update. Once we find out what's new, we'll let you know.
