Comcast adds Hulu to Xfinity Flex, coming soon to X1 as well

If you're stuck at home due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, Comcast announced today that it has added more content to Xfinity Flex with the launch of Hulu on the streaming box. And in the coming weeks, the streaming app will also arrive on X1 as well.

Xfinity Flex customers can watch Hulu Originals content by just logging into their Hulu account. There are many options to choose from, such as the newly released Little Fires Everywhere. Classic TV series are available as well including The Golden Girls and Rick & Morty.

The addition of Hulu to the streaming device expands the service's existing offering including Netflix, Amazon Prime, YouTube, Pandora, and HBO. Earlier this month, Hulu's Live TV service also arrived on the PlayStation 4, allowing customers to watch both live and on-demand programs from channels like ESPN, Fox, NBC, and others.

Soon, Comcast plans to enable voice control for Hulu with the Xfinity Voice Remote so customers can launch the app hands-free. Several Hulu programming will then appear in the Flex and X1 guides. Featured content includes "New on Hulu" or "Best of Hulu".
