EA Play, Halo 4, Tetris Effect, Planet Coaster, Destiny 2, and more head to Xbox Game Pass

With only a day left before the Xbox Series X and Series S consoles officially launch, Microsoft today revealed a bunch of new games incoming to the platform, and reminded everyone of EA Play's arrival to the subscription's Ultimate variant at no additional cost.

Xbox One and Series X|S owners who are Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members will have full access to the EA Play subscription, with over 60 Electronic Arts-published titles including Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order, starting tomorrow, November 10. PC users will get their turn on December 15, which is when both Ultimate and Game Pass PC members will also gain access to EA Play through Electronic Art's brand new EA Desktop app.

Moreover, Game Pass Ultimate's cloud gaming on Android support is coming to seven EA titles, them being Dragon Age: Inquisition, Madden NFL 20, Mass Effect: Andromeda, Mirror’s Edge Catalyst, Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare 2, The Sims 4, and Unravel 2.

Finally coming around to the games, all the new experiences heading to the Xbox Game Pass subscriptions soon can be seen below, including the first-party releases of Gears Tactics for Xbox One and Series X|S consoles, and Halo 4 for PC. As usual, the titles are split across PC, Xbox One, and Android (cloud play) platforms.

  • Gears Tactics (Android & Console) – November 9
  • Destiny 2: Beyond Light (Android & Console) – November 10
  • Planet Coaster: Console Edition (Android & Console) – November 10
  • Tetris Effect: Connected (Console & PC) – November 10
  • Final Fantasy VIII Remastered (Console & PC) – November 12
  • Gonner2 (Android) – November 12
  • Streets of Rogue (PC) – November 12
  • Ark: Survival Evolved: Explorer’s Edition (Android, Console & PC) – November 17
  • Halo MCC: Halo 4 (PC) – November 17
  • River City Girls (Android, Console & PC) – November 19
  • Star Renegades (Android & Console) – November 19

Meanwhile, four games are leaving soon, with Darksiders III, Munchkin, The Talos Principle, and Tracks: The Train Set Game departing from both the Console and PC subscriptions on November 16.

Lastly, Microsoft just announced a new perk for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate holders, with a 30 day trial of Disney+ heading to members to use for free.
