Today, Microsoft has released a Halo Infinite dynamic theme for Xbox Series X|S consoles. The theme is exactly the same as the game's cover art, but features a structure shooting a light projectile into the air in the background. If you're looking forward to the game, be sure to check it out on your devices.
In order to select the Halo Infinite theme, just go to Settings and then select Personalization. One of the options in this submenu will allow you to set a new background. There are a dozen or so to choose from, but this new one is definitely the most colorful and visually striking out of the lot.
Halo Infinite is scheduled to release on December 8, 2021. You can pre-order it for $59.99, but it'll also be part of Xbox Game Pass at launch. The pre-load is already available and downloads a 280MB file. Once the game goes gold and is uploaded onto Microsoft's servers, the placeholder will automatically be updated to a larger file.
At gamescom 2021, Microsoft also unveiled a Limited Edition Halo Infinite Xbox Series X and Xbox Wireless Elite Controller - Series 2. They're sold out online, but your local retailer may have a few left.
