Nokia to offer live stream of Nokia World event at 3 am ET Oct. 22nd

Nokia has already announced its plans to hold a big Nokia World press event on October 22nd in Abu Dhabi. Since most of us are not financially able to attend, Nokia has revealed today that it will be live streaming the event for everyone in the world to see.

A post on the Nokia Twitter feed today stated that the live stream will begin at 11 am in the time zone of the Middle Eastern city-state and will be found on the official Nokia Conversations blog. That means people in the Eastern time zone will be able to watch it at 3 am local time and at midnight Pacific Time.

A recent report claims that Nokia will reveal six new products during the Nokia World event. Internet rumors would strongly suggest that the company will officially announce its 6-inch Lumia 1520 Windows Phone at Nokia World. Nokia is also expected to show a 10.1 inch tablet that will have Windows RT installed and which some Internet rumors claim will be named the Lumia 2520. Earlier this week, yet another report claims that Nokia has a Lumia 1320 smartphone in the works, with the cool code name "Batman".

Update: In a post on the Nokia blog, the company announced that following the live stream of the Nokia World event, it will launch a second webcast later on October 22nd where it will "go into much more detail about… well, whatever is announced in the morning." The second live stream will begin at 4 pm Eastern Time and will conclude at 6 pm.
