Shark spotted in new Grand Theft Auto V screenshots

Yes, we know that Grand Theft Auto V has yet to be announced for the PC, but it would be a major shock if the latest game in the hugely popular open world action series would be the first to bypass the PC platform. Today (yes, Christmas Eve) Rockstar released several new screenshots from the game that offer some interesting glimpses of its world.

One screenshot from the set, shown above, shows what is clearly a shark swimming around in the ocean, which would seem to indicate that there will be live sharks to avoid in this version of the world.

Another screenshot shows what looks like the tip of a big commercial airliner. Does that mean you will get to pilot such a vehicle in the game world? It wouldn't surprise us; Grand Theft Auto V is supposed to be the biggest game in the series, set in the state of San Andreas, a fictional version of California.

The game will be released sometime in the spring of 2013 for the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. We suspect that the unannounced PC port of the game would be coming out several months later, around the end of 2013.
