Weekend PC Game Deals: Steam Summer Sale 2018 edition

Weekend PC Game Deals is where the hottest gaming deals from all over the internet are gathered into one place, every week, for your consumption. So kick back, relax, and hold on to your wallets.

Before we get to all the sales that are going on right now, let's have a look at the Indie Legends 8 Bundle that Fanatical put forth earlier this week.

Coming in at $3.49, the bundle has ten games in its grasp, with some of them being Fahrenheit: Indigo Prophecy Remastered, Convoy, Action Henk, and the Broken Sword Trilogy.

The store also kicked off a sale of its own right alongside Steam's Summer Sale with new deals appearing every day, and applying the code RED10 at checkout will get you an additional 10% off purchases.

Free Events

The tactical FPS, Squad, is having a free Steam weekend during the whirlwind of sales that are going on right now. If you're interested in a realistic shooter experience that requires a lot of teamwork and coordination, this is a good time to try the game out before pulling the trigger.

Big Deals

After a shaky start, Steam's new Intergalactic Summer Sale is now running at full sprint, with almost everything on the store being on the receiving end of discounts. The enormous sale will come to a close on July 5, and since daily deals were retired some years back, remember that all discounts will remain the same throughout the entire event.

We have a larger than usual list of deals with notable discounts for you to have a look at down below.

Below $10

The Steam Link's new $2.50 price point is worth mentioning as well, even if it's not a game deal, although the shipping cost may be a bit high.

DRM-free Goodness

The GOG store's own summer sale came to an end earlier this week, so we are back to seeing the smaller cluster of weekly DRM-free deals the store normally puts out.

Do keep in mind that availability and pricing for some deals may vary depending on the region you're in.

And that is it for our pick of this weekend's PC game deals folks, and hopefully, at least some of you have enough self-restraint not to break the bank adding new games from the Summer Sale to your ever-growing backlogs. Of course, there is an enormous amount of other deals ready and waiting all over the interwebs if you comb through it hard enough, so keep your eyes open for those, and have a great weekend.
