Slime-san made its debut a few months ago in April on PC and is now coming to the Nintendo Switch starting next month.
The story starts with a peaceful slime named Jump minding its own business when all of sudden it is swallowed by a giant worm. The goal is to get Jump out of the digestive system of the worm by powering your way through 200 levels. Although it might not sport the most complex graphics, part of the charm of the game is in its retro feel with its chiptune instrumentals, along with the unique pixilated graphics that are rendered in five colors.
Not only will you be tasked with escape, but you will also be able to interact with other poor souls that have been swallowed over the years and have made the worm's stomach their home. In this town, you'll be able to expand the game with personal flavor by purchasing different outfits and shaders, along with multiplayer mini-games. Slime-san will be available on the Nintendo eShop by August 3rd.
