Some Google's Pixel 2 XL units are apparently shipping without an OS

It's a new week and that means a new problem for Google's Pixel 2 XL. While there have been numerous reports over the past couple weeks about its display and audio issues, it appears that the firm is now shipping handsets without an OS, leaving many owners frustrated.

According to the report, there have been multiple incidents popping up where the handsets are arriving from Google without an Android OS installed. What results is the screen above and a message that kindly suggests users visit the Google help link on another device. Although this is already a pain in itself, it appears that navigating to the site doesn't provide a real solution, as there doesn't seem to be a scenario that matches what's actually occurring.

Those that are experiencing this issue will most likely want to contact Google directly. While it is unclear what kind of solution is being offered, the firm should be able to provide a replacement. If still interested in this handset, you can purchase one from the Google Store or head your local Verizon.
