Apple first revealed the Newton PDA 31 years ago today, but the portable device and its successors suffered from over promises from the company that the actual device could keep up with.

A new report has more information on the troubled development of Apple's upcoming mixed reality headset, which was reportedly called a "science project" by company hardware exec Johny Srouji.

Apple might bring Final Cut Pro to its mixed-reality headset at some time in the future, according to Mark Gurman. The video editing app along with Logic Pro was recently released for iPadOS.

Well-known Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo claims that mass production of the Apple mixed reality headset has been delayed again to Q3 2023, and that there is now "uncertainly" about its reveal at WWDC.

The annual developers conference from Apple will also likely see the company show off new iOS and MacOS upgrades but most people hope the long rumored mixed reality headset makes an appearance.

Apple's heavily rumoured Mixed-Reality headset has reportedly been demoed to it's top 100 executives in the Steve Jobs Theater within the past week in a 'key milestone' for the company.

The report claims that the long rumored mixed reality headset from Apple has been hit with some development issues, and that a planned April reveal has been pushed back until WWDC in June.
