Jumping over to the pay more than average tier will set you back $8, which adds on Witch It, Silence, as well as Deponia Doomsday plus its soundtrack to the mix.

Lastly, the $12 tier arrives with Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun, The Long Journey Home, and Bounty Train, in addition to all the games in previous tiers. As a bonus, know that with the exception of Witch It, all games in this bundle also arrive as DRM-free downloads.

Meanwhile, don't forget that the ARMA 2018 Bundle is still up and running with a few days left on its counter.

Free Events

The real-time strategy title Tooth and Tail is one of the two games having a free weekend on Steam this time around. The game has you controlling various animals that tote flamethrowers, gas grenades, and other weaponry to win a civil war that has sparked in the animal kingdom. It is even cross-play enabled with PS4 players.

Up next is Forts, the strategic base attack title that pits teams against each other's custom-built bases, where the first group to destroy the opposing team's structure are the victors. The game's multiplayer portion is completely free to play during this weekend.

Big Deals

With the beginning of the weekend arrives a wide assortment of sales, and below, we have a selection of handpicked games that are near or below their historical discount rates. There are several stores that have put up discounts for their wares to promote E3 week, where we will definitely see plenty of sequels for these franchises being announced.

DRM-free Goodness

Now, with all those out of the way, let's have a look at some of the DRM-free deals that are on offer this weekend on the GOG store, which is celebrating the summer with a massive sale that includes modern titles and classics alike.

The GOG Connect feature that gives you DRM-free copies of select games that you own on Steam is once again up and running too, letting you bolster your GOG library free of charge.

Do keep in mind that availability and pricing for some deals may vary depending on the region you're in.

And that is it for our pick of this weekend's PC game deals folks, and hopefully, some of you have enough self-restraint not to break the bank adding new games to your ever-growing backlogs. Of course, there is an enormous amount of other deals ready and waiting all over the interwebs if you comb through it hard enough, so keep your eyes open for those, and have a great weekend.
